5 Months and only getting cuter!

Tate is 5 months and just keeps getting sweeter every day. His personality is really developing and he is charming us more and more every day. We can't believe how big he has gotten. We look back on pictures on the time and it's just amazing how time flies. We remember when he was just a little 7 pound peanut and now he's 18 pounds!


You can get an even better idea when you see him in his bather seat in the tub. He was so skinny and barely fit in it! This is him at 3 weeks and again at almost 5 months

We have enjoyed watching him grow so much. A friend of mine told me to take a picture of him every day because babies change so fast. I have been pretty good about doing this and so it's been so neat to watch the day to day changes as we look back on pictures. I feel like he looks so different now that he has chunked out so much in comparison to when he was so little. When he was born til about 3 months EVERYONE thought that he was Ryan's mini me, but in the last couple months more people have been saying that he looks more like me and my family. What do you think? I see both of us, but mostly I just see Tate. =) He can roll over now, but only from his back to his tummy. He is really wanting to sit up, but hasn't quite found his balance. I'm sure that he will be doing that soon enough. His legs are really strong so he wants to stand when you hold him all the time, it's awfully cute. He finally fits in his new bouncer that my mom got him, and loves it


He sits in his bumbo a lot more. He watched dad give Lucy a hair cut while eating a cookie


He LOVES water, so we took him to the pool, he didn't know what to think, but he loved it once he got use to all the noise. My camera died once we got him in the water...of course.


His favorite time of day is when he gets his oatmeal before bed. Takes it off a spoon so well! He has to adjust to the first bite, but after that, he can't get enough!

Tate is just the love of our life. He makes every day so happy. I am NOT a morning person, but waking up to his happy angel face each morning makes it totally worth it. We are so grateful that we get to raise this sweet, loving boy. Being a parent is such a special gift.
